For

images. Hawk Automated provides all the benefits of a video measuring
system with the high resolution, accuracy and confidence of an optical
system.
The
Hawk fully automated 3-axis non-contact measuring system provides high
accuracy, repeatable, fully automated measurement of complex manufactured
components of all materials, offering a productive and flexible solution
to meet the most demanding of measuring requirements.
Easy-to-use, fully programmable Metronics QC5000 geometric PC
software controls X, Y, Z movement, auto-focus and video edge detection
and also provides a powerful and straightforward user interface with
advanced data handling capabilities, including CAD import/export and
custom reporting.
Flexibility is also retained, allowing one-off measurements to
be made with ease, without the need for reprogramming.
The automated high accuracy stage option builds on the
benefits of the manual Hawk systems, using the high contrast, high
resolution optical image to measure critical parts with high accuracy and
confidence.
The
measuring stage is a high precision 200mm x 150mm (8" x 6") stage, with
factory completed non-linear error correction calibration to ensure
optimum accuracy and traceability to NIST standards for the purposes of
ISO9000.
Hawk
systems can also be linked to external accessories such as a digital
