Factory Refurbished items are products which are in good working condition, but are not suitable for sale as a "new product".  Typically they have been used at a demonstration, or shown at a trade show.  They could be missing their original packaging or have a few blemishes; perhaps are a slightly older design than the current model.  But all these items have been thoroughly inspected and are guaranteed with a full one-year warranty.
